Hello! I’m Satish Garimella, your Morrisville Mayor Pro Tem. After 10 years serving families on the Morrisville Town Council, and more than two decades of community service here in southwestern Wake County, I am honored to run for Mayor of Morrisville in 2025!

I believe our town deserves experienced, data-driven, and forward-thinking leaders who are focused on what Morrisville needs most – community engagement, economic resiliency, and a premium quality of life. As your mayor, I will continue to bring an analytical, community-centered perspective to best serve everyone who lives and works in Morrisville. 

Community service has always been a central part of my life. I am currently serving on the Boards of Directors for WakeMed Health and Hospitals, the North Carolina Museum of Natural History, the North Carolina League of Municipalities, North Carolina Workforce Education, and my own HOA, which is near and dear to me. I also advocate for Morrisville residents and businesses on regional, state, and federal levels. During my ten years serving as a Town Council Member, I’ve worked to establish open and constructive dialogue with residents, businesses, and community organizations to develop creative opportunities for Morrisville to prosper. 

My professional leadership and personable approach set me apart. I lead with transparency, integrity, and a dedication to putting our hometown first.
